TeamTracker SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions

Program Description

TeamTracker’s SMS notification service provides real-time text message alerts to users who opt-in
to receive updates about their followed teams. Messages include:

  • Game Scores: Live score updates during games
  • Cancellations: Notifications when games are cancelled
  • Location Changes: Alerts when game locations are changed

This is NOT a marketing service. You will only receive notifications related to
game activities for teams you actively follow.

Opt-In Process

You provide consent to receive SMS notifications when you:

  • Check the SMS consent box during account registration, OR
  • Enable text notifications in your account notification preferences, OR
  • Text START to our messaging number (if applicable)

Your consent is specific to this notification program and cannot be transferred
to other services or purposes.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on game activity for the teams you follow. You may receive:

  • Multiple messages per game day during active games
  • Occasional messages about cancellations or location changes
  • No messages during off-season or when no games are scheduled

Estimated frequency: Up to 10-15 messages per week during active seasons, fewer during off-season.

Costs and Fees

TeamTracker does not charge any fees for SMS notifications.

However, please note:

  • Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply
  • Standard text messaging rates depend on your mobile phone plan
  • TeamTracker is not responsible for charges from your carrier
  • Contact your mobile carrier for information about your messaging plan costs

Consent to receive messages is NOT a condition of using TeamTracker.
You can use all TeamTracker features without opting in to SMS notifications.

How to Opt-Out (Unsubscribe)

You can stop receiving text messages at any time by using any of these methods:

  • Text STOP: Reply with the word STOP to any message from our number
  • Account Settings: Disable text notifications in your TeamTracker account preferences
  • Contact Us: Email us at [YOUR EMAIL] to request removal

After you opt-out, you will receive one final confirmation message, then no further messages
(except if you opt back in).

Supported Carriers

This service is available to customers of all major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T,

delivery, please contact your carrier or our support team.

Service Availability

While we strive to provide reliable service, TeamTracker makes no guarantee about:

  • Message delivery timing or reliability
  • Service availability during carrier network issues
  • Accuracy of automated score updates

We are not liable for any damages resulting from delayed, failed, or inaccurate messages.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our
SMS Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use,
and protect your mobile phone number.

Key privacy points:

  • We will NOT share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes
  • We only share information with our SMS service provider (Twilio) to deliver messages
  • You can request deletion of your information at any time

Age Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old to opt-in to SMS notifications. If you are under 18,
you should have parental or guardian permission before providing your mobile phone number.

Changes to Terms
